Super Eagles defender Kenneth Omeruo is happy to test himself against big players in the Spanish La Liga and believes it’s important for his growth as a professional.
Omeruo returned from injury and suspension that kept him out for three games to face European Champions Real Madrid in Monday’s Spanish LA Liga clash.
The former Standard Liege of Belgium defender helped his side avoid defeat as the game ended in a 1-1 draw.
However , Omeruo disclosed he’s happy to test himself against the best teams in the Spanish league.
“Playing top games like this is good for me, I have played against Barcelona, Real Madrid, Atletico Madrid and Valencia all season,”
“It has been a great season so far.”
