Erzurumspor BB ground out a result against Altinordu in a hard fought 2-1 win in their Turkey 1.Lig match at the weekend.
A hard fought come back victory for Erzurumspor ensured back to back wins after previously picking one point from the three games prior.
On the day, Nigerian striker Aaron Olanare got an assist for the winning goal.
The visitors took the lead quite early on through Seref Ozcan (31′), but Muzaffer Bilazer’s team responded before the interval. Muhammed Ozhan leveled the score line in the 44th minute.
After the restart, there was no further goal action until the 72nd minute when Aaron Olanare set up his teammate – his sixth goal contribution this season – Eren Tozlu for the eventual match winner.
Olanare, who has made 15 appearances in the League has registered four goals and two assists in the current campaign.
Despite Sunday’s win, the Ezurum based club remain out the playoff spot by 8 points after 17 round of matches played.
Next up for them is a Christmas Day fixture on the road against promotion chasing Boluspor at the Bolu Ataturk Stadium.
