Oladoye gets more first team action in Gent’s League win over KV Mechelen

Young midfielder Adewale Oladoye was a second half substitute in Gent’s 2-0 victory against Mechelen on Sunday in the Jupiler League.

Oladoye, who has was an unused substitute in his side’s UEFA Conference League win, Thursday, was giving 15 minutes action in the home league game.
The 19 year-old who already has a goal to his name for The Buffalos, didn’t however get his name on the scoresheet this time around.
He did come close though, but his biggest contribution in the game would be his key passes in helping rotate and retain possession in the team.
Gent were fired into the lead by Cameroon’s Michael Ngadeu-Ngadjui in the 28th minute before a later clincher from Angola’s Nurio Fortuna sealed all three points for Hein Vanhaezebrouck’s side.
