Olaoluwa Aina was in action in Sunday’s Italian Serie A game involving his side Torino and Fiorentina at the Stadio Olimpico Grande Torino.
Aina was introduced in the 12th for injured Lorenzo De Silvestri and jumped right into the fray rolling up his sleeves and doing the dirty job – he picked up a Yellow card few minutes later.
But it mattered little as he set up Cristian Ansaldi for Torino’s second after Simone Zaza fired them ahead in the 22nd minute.
Martin Caceres reduced the deficit for the visitors on the stroke of 90 minutes, but it was just a consolation as Torino held on for the maximum points.
Torino currently occupied 9th position on the league table with 20 points from 15 matches.
