Okoye Ebuka on target as Cleopatra FC stretch unbeaten run

Ceramica Cleopatra made it back to back wins in the Egypt PL, when they beat Aswan SC and John Ebuka Okoye was on the score sheet.

Okoye netted his second goal of the season as his side secured a stoppage time victory away from home.

He joined the club at the end of last season from Enppi, where he scored 13 goals in 32 league games.

Making his 7th appearance of the season for his new team, the visitors controlled the game and deservingly shot themselves ahead, just past the half hour mark, through 23 year-old Mohamed Shokry (31′).

No further goals was scored until late in the second half, when John Okoye found the back of the net in the 72nd minute.

However, the hosts responded, halving the deficit in the 74th minute before leveling up the score on 89 minutes.

But, Ceramica Cleopatra would have the final say and in the second minute of stoppage time, their summer import from Al Ahly, Shokry set up substitute, Seif Teka for the game winner.

Victory on the day moved Gold and Blood up to 7th place in the standings after as many games in the Egypt PL.

The team also stretch their unbeaten run to three games (2 wins, 1 draw) after losing their previous three league games.
