Enyimba defender Stanley Okorom has states that he is remaining hopeful a d high optimistic of the People’s Elephants chances of securing qualification to the next round of the CAF champions league despite the set back of playing goalless at home to Sudanese club Al-hilal.
Okorom speaking in a chat with www.brila.net said they can very well understand the worries of fans and Nigerians who would have loved to see the team pick a first leg advantage but stressed that they are cool with the goalless draw in the first leg stating emphatically that the game is still very open.
“Actually they have to worry you know when you don’t come out victorious, everybody wants to win, everybody wants a good result from us but unfortunately we didn’t get what we were looking for but we thank God that it’s a goalless draw. So the match is still fresh. We’re going to Sudan and we believe in God that we’re going to come out victorious.”
