Iconic ex-Super Eagles player, Austin “Jay Jay” Okocha has predicted that Fenerbahçe will defeat Galatasaray and win the Süper Lig this season.

Fenerbahçe are in a close race for the top of the Turkish league, sitting in second place with 63 points, just 6 points behind leaders Galatasaray.

Although both teams are still in the running for the league title, Okocha, a legend of the Yellow Canaries, is hoping for a repeat of the 2013–2014 season and has selected his old team to win the Süper Lig.

“I hope Galatasaray will lose points, even in the last match of the Galatasaray-Fenerbahçe derby.

“I hope Fenerbahçe’s luck continues this season. Nothing is lost, it’s open.

“We must win every match. 6 points difference is not important. It is very important that they won yesterday, even at the last minute.

“Of course, they can be champions but they should definitely continue without losing,” Okocha said as per Hurriyet.
