Remo Stars head coach, Daniel Ogunmodede, ahead of the club’s CAF Champions League clash against Ghanaian champions, Medeama, has stated that his team is expected to deliver big.

Ogunmodede told FL that, the first club’s debut appearance on the elite stage of African club competition comes with huge expectations, and their target is to make it to the group stage – as against their preliminary stage exit at the hands of FAR Rabat last season.

“We hope to continue from where we stopped on the continent the last time.

“Yes, we are going to try our best to surpass our last record on the continent this time around. That’s our major aim and hopefully we can get to the group stage of the Champions League,” the Remo Stars boss said.

The Sky Blue Stars are set to take on Medeama SC in the first leg CAF Champions League, preliminary round on Sunday.

The match is slated to be held at the Cape Coast Stadium.
