3SC head Coach, Gbenga Ogunbote has acknowledged that the team didn’t particularly perform to their full potential in the first half of the 2023 NPFL season.

Although started the season fairly well, 3SC struggled to grind out results; even at home, towards the end of the first half of the season.

Coach Ogunbote identified areas of weakness in the team over the first nine games of the season and was particularly critical of 3SC’s inability to convert chances.

The Coach revealed that more players would be brought in, especially in attack, to further strengthen the squad.

“In the first stanza of the league we’ve not done too brilliantly and we to make sure that we correct all the mistakes where necessary, but the first stanza hasn’t been a good one for the team,” he told Fresh 105.9 FM.

“We will bring one or two quality players to ensure that we tighten up.

“We won’t sign too many players for the second stanza, all we need to do is to block the loopholes we noticed in the first stanza, we are talking to bring between 3 and 5 players,” he said.
