OGC Nice And Lille Jostle for Moses Simon Signature

French Ligue 1 clubs OGC Nice and Lille have shown interests in signing Super Eagles winger Moses Simon from Nantes in the upcoming transfer window.

Simon has been unable to reach a contract renewal agreement with Nantes, and the will consider cashing on the player this summer – with one year remaining on his current contract.

 

He initially joined Nantes in 2020 from Spanish club Levante, following a successful loan spell at the French club during the preceding season.

Meanwhile, the Player’s currnet situation has also attracted Ligue 1 clubs and the Nigerian is on the radar of the both Nice and Lille, as reported by L’Equipe.

These clubs are eager to bolster their squads by adding Simon’s talents to their respective teams.

Nantes will seek a transfer fee of approximately €5 million for the 27-year-old.

In the just concluded season, Simon scored five goals and contributed four assists in 34 league appearances for the Canaries.
