Nwakaeme Claps back at Trabzonspor over failed Contract Talks


Anthony Nwakaeme has clapped back at Trabzonspor over the club’s handling of his failed contract talks.

Nwakaeme left the Turkish Champions at the end of last failing to reach agreement on a new deal, but claims the club is deliberately misleading fans with their own narrative to make him look bad.
In a social media post, the Forward responded to reports about him turning down a new contract offer, and labelled it as an attempt to “spoil my market value”.


The Player’s Instagram story posted, Thursday, sort to address how he was treated unfairly in spite of his contributions to the team’s successes.
Last season, Nwakaeme (13)was only second behind Andreas Cornelius (15) for the most league goals scored by any Trabzonspor player.
However, the 33 year-old had the most goal contribution (13 goals, 10 assists) as Trabzonspor clinched their 7th league title.
It brought and end to their 38-year wait for the title, beating Fenerbahce by 8 points.
According to reports the Nigerian Forward is now set to open talks as a Free agent with Fenerbahce ahead of the new season.
