Rivers United forward, Nyima Nwagua has likened the feeling of the last-minute draw against Remo Stars to a win and has urged his teammates to dwell on the positives from the encounter.

Nwagua scored the opening goal for Rivers United but the team was guilty of missing chances and the captain has urged them to be more clinical in front of goal.

“I am happy that we were able to go away with a point because in this competition you are not supposed to drop points and we gaining a point is a very good one for us.

“In our team, we believe it’s never over until it is over. I am glad we were able to get the equalizer because we also believe that we have to stick together whatever happens and luckily for us our efforts were crowned with a goal.

“In a game of this magnitude, you have to keep your head down and take every opportunity that comes because if you do not take them you get punished but we will only take the positives from today and throw away the negatives.”
