Enyimba United striker Emeka Obioma has vowed to lead the team to glory in the Nigeria Premier League Super 6, following his match-winning goal against Lobi Stars on Monday.

In a chat with FL, Obioma also praised the performance of his teammates in their victory against Lobi Stars and revealed that they avoided repeating earlier mistakes that cost them two points in the first game against Remo Stars.

“I want to score goals, I always want to score goals because I believe I am not there yet,” said the Striker after his second goal in the Playoffs.

“I want to get there and the only way to get there is to score and continue to score goals.

“I feel very happy because after the first game that we lost the three points (it ended 2-2), we knew we had to fight for every point, and we knew we needed every match.

“So, we came out to fight for it and we got the result against Lobi Stars.

“There is no team in this tournament that is a pushover; every team is a big team as long as the Super 6 is concerned. We knew what we were up against, and we decided not to let what happened before to happen again.”
