Plateau United new signing, Michael Ibe says he is excited to return to the NPFL after one season in the Jordanian League Division 1 with Al-Karmal.
The former Akwa United midfielder, has also set his sights on the NPFL title for his new side.
Ibe, who played for the Jordanian outfit, Al-Karmal through last season, netting 14 goals and bagging 12 assists talked about his goals as he reunites with his former coach.
“I feel excited to be back to the NPFL. This is not the first time I’m playing under Maikaba as you know. I played under him at Akwa United and I had an impressive season there, being their top scorer in all competition.” He told www.brila.net.
“Plateau United have a good chance to win the league title with the quality players signed. Our target is to win the league, as we already have the right coach and players.
“I just want to do more for this team and see how it goes at the end of the season in our pursuit for the league title. He concluded.
The 2016 NPFL champions got their 2019/20 campaign underway with a 3-1 victory over Lobi Stars in Jos.
