Dadzie had a storming game, putting in several key passes. He was on hand to score from a set piece. Reliable.

Isiaka Oladuntoye – Rangers

The leader of the backline kept Sunshine Stars at bay and was unafraid to push forward at times. Unrelenting.

Monsuru Bashiru – Lobi Stars

The defender was on top of his game, held his defence tight. He showed his alertness in the game. Uncompromising.

Ugwu Uwuadiegwu – Rangers

The best of the defenders and possibly of the whole team. Sent over several decent crosses which his forwards failed to exploit and was always pushing forward. Essential.

Kelly Kester – Lobi Stars

It may have taken him a while to wake up, but suddenly he stood out like a Bishop at the morning call to prayer and started to see a lot of the ball. Resolute.

Godspower Anefiok – Akwa United

Always on the mark, his decisiveness in midfield saw him produce an assist in the win over Pillars. Determined.

Ahmadu Liman – Niger Tornadoes

He deserves recognition for his jewel of brace. Elemental.

Uche Ihuarulam – FC Ifeanyi Ubah

After giving Go Round FC more warnings than on a cigarette packet, the strike produced the goods with a sublime double. Outstanding.

Seka Pascal – Rangers

Rangers’ brace hero blew open the hosts’ defence with two superb goal. Crucial.

Stanley Dimgba – Enyimba

A top-notch performance from the wily winger, who after several dangerous shots on goal was rewarded with a fine brace. Fundamental.
