NPFL: Galadima hails Nasarawa United new form

Nasarawa United ’s goalkeeper Mohammed Galadima has described his side win over FC IfeanyiUbah as a sweet victory.

The Solid Miners struggled earlier in the season but they have now turned their season around with impressive display in recent weeks , including 4-1 whitewash of Delta Force few days back and the last Sunday victory over high flying FC Ifeayin Ubah.

Galadima who also enjoying his best form between the sticks for the Bala Nikyu led boys said the team is happy with the current form because their hard work is finally paying off.

“It was a sweet home win for us but it did not come easily like that because of the opponents we faced on Sunday: FC IfeanyiUbah and we had to give the game our best shots to ensure that we pick the three points,”

“We knew that to win three straight games in the league would be difficult and we worked very hard for it. We were fortunate to have two home games on the trot and the win over Delta Force gave us the hope that we can beat FC IfeanyiUbah even with the odd goal. I have to commend all the players for the good job they did.

Galadima who replaced Suraj Ayeleso as the Club number one added that the Club no longer afraid of relegation and are ready to approach their next game against Heartland with confidence.

“We are no longer worried about the relegation battle because we are some points away from it and we can approach our next game with Heartland with high hope that we can still secure at least a point.”

Nasarawa United occupy the fifth position on the log of Group B with 22 points from 14 games.
