Tosin Omoyele’s second goal of the Egyptian Premier League season helped Nogoom FC to a 1-1 draw against El Entag El Harby at the Petrosport Stadium on Friday night.
The 22-year-old who is on-loan to Nogoom from Plateau United got on the end of a right wing cross from Ayman El Gbobashy to poke home in the ninth minute.
Six minutes later, Mohamed Mosaad replied for the Military Machines.
Defender Michael Azekhumen was
on parade Nogoom while James Teddy Owoboskini suited up for El Entag El Harby.
Nogoom are now placed at 17th in the Premier League table and host
El Daklyeh on 31st March.
The excited Omoyele took to the Social Media to express his joy with the important strike.
“Got my second goal in the Egyptian Premier League after my fourth league start yesterday away from home against El Entag El Harby.”
“Game ended 1-1 and we secured a point,” the former COD United and Osun United forward wrote via Facebook.
Omoyele also showed gratitude to Ayman El Gbobashy for the well crafted assist.
“Special thanks to El Gbobashy for the timely assist. We keep on fighting till we escape the drop.”
