Mutiu Adepoju has expressed disappointment with the performance of the Super Eagles in the Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Guinea-Bissau.

Adepoju berated some of the Eagles Players’ apparent lack of consistency in the National team compared to their club form.

The former Midfielder, who also served as a member of the NFF’s Technical department, insists the situation requires sincere and urgent solution.

“Firstly nobody Is happy with what happened, but, personally I feel relieved that we defeated Guinea-Bissau in their backyard, and that we are still ahead in the group.

” Truly, nobody is happy with what is happening. It looks as if we are not consistent and we have to look inwards and see how to find solutions to what is happening.”

“It’s not like we don’t have the players, all our players are doing well in their various clubs in Europe, and they are scoring, so what’s the reason for their dip when they come to play for the national team?

“All this has to be addressed, so we can find the right solutions to improve the team’s when they come to Nigeria.”
