Terem Moffi surprisingly wasn’t in the starting XI as OGC Nice was stung away by Brest who are logged in a tough relegation battle.

Didier Digard was expected to start his strongest lineup against Brest, who regardless of their position in the league, were on a three-game unbeaten run, but the French man chose to prioritize the Europa Conference league clash against Basel and started Moffi on the bench.

His decision backfired as Brest scored early through Jeremy Le Douaron in the 12th minute and held on to claim their first back-to-back home victory of the season.

Terem came on at the start of the second half, but had an uneventful outing with just 7 touches, and 1 blocked shot, he also lost possession twice as he just couldn’t influence the result.

He will however be aiming to get back on the score sheet when the team hosts Basel at the Allianz Riviera.
