Ola Aina did not taste action, as he was benched for the entire 90 minutes in Torino’s 1-0 away win at Genoa on Saturday.

Aina was rested by coach Walter Mazzarri as the gaffer continues his squad rotation policy among the defenders.

Gleison Breimer scored the decisive goal for Torino 13 minutes from time to hand them elusive victory in the league.

Aina, who joined Torino from Chelsea also missed the league game second place Inter Milan last week, but he has played 11 Serie A games for his club this season.

Torino are 10th on the log with 17 points from 14 matches so far this season.
