Niger Tornadoes central midfielder Ayooluwa Adetola has said the team have no margin of error in their attempt to avoid relegation this season.
The Ikon Boys are bottom of the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) Group A table.
Wikki Tourists are Tornadoes’ next opponents and Adetola has told Footballlive.ng that there are reasons for optimism in their next outing.
“This situation is complicated but there are ways out of it,” he said in a chat with Footballlive.ng.
“The games we have left are like finals but if we play with intensity and get as many goals we can get out of this. We are motivated.
“Margin of error? We don’t have one. The margin is win, win, win. That starts on Sunday. A draw isn’t worth anything.
“The team is prepared to take all three points, although it will be very difficult.”
“We know there is pressure, but we are experienced players and we have to face it. Our mentality is positive.
“Wikki Tourists are warriors. So we have to bite, be aggressive, play one on one and take whatever chances we have.
“This is football and when you least expect it you can get the points. I trust my team.”
