It was a bad day in the office for Terem Moffi and his Lorient teammates as they suffered a heavy defeat in the Ligue 1 clash against FC Metz.

Moffi was on the pitch for the entire duration of the game, but the striker was shut out by the Metz defence in a game the hosts won comfortably, 4-1 at the Stade Municipal Saint-Symphorien.
The Nigerian’s lack of goals has now stretched to 12 games and its also had an impact on the team as they drop into the relegation waters.
So far this season, the 22 year-old has made 17 appearances but has a meager two league goals to show for it. The last time he found the back of the net was in September.
Still in the Ligue 1 Samuel Kalu was not available for Bordeaux on Sunday in the trip to Stade de l’Aube against Troyes.
The winger is reportedly out with an illness, but it wasn’t a problem for his teammates who secured the win and move the team two points clear off relegation.
