NLO Chief Operating Officer Reveals New League Format

The Chief Operating Officer of the Nationwide League (NLO), Shola Ogunnowo has hinted at the details of the new league format to be adopted by the lower divisions going forward.

With the NLO division 2 and NLO division 3 crashed into a youth league, teams will be able to register 35 players in their ranks, while the relegating teams from NLO division 1 have players over the age of 19.
Ogunnowo explained that they will be able to register 10 players above the age of 19 out of the 35 maximum for the league season.
With the NLO division 1 season coming to an end – one round of matches to go – Trade Safe Sports FC who are confirmed champions of group A2 will play Smart City, who are well on course to be the champions of group A1, for a ticket to play in the NNL division next season.
