Nasarawa United manager, Bala Nikyu has expressed excitement following his team’s 2-0 victory against Remo Stars.
Two quick-fire goals in the early minutes of the game secured the win for Nasarawa United and they were able to keep a clean sheet, in what was their second win so far this season this season.
The team moved off the bottom of group A, into 8th spot, and Nikyu has charged the team not to rest on their oars after what has been a difficult start to the season.
“Winning back-to-back at home is a good one for us,” said the Coach.
“We still have the second round to catch up after our slow start.”
