Head of the FIFA inspection team to Nigeria, Rhiannon Martin has stated that Nigeria’s U20 women world cup bid will still be subjected to more discussion and evaluation after inspecting proposed venues and facilities.

In a chat with footballlive.ng Martin said this is the first stage of the analysis on Nigeria’s bid and obviously the bid will still go through a number of process where discussions will be made before a verdict is drawn by FIFA on Nigeria’s bid to host or otherwise.

“We’ve had a very intense and productive look at proposed match venues, training sites, hospitals and hotels which could potentially be used to host the FIFA U20 women world cup next year,” Martin said.

“We’re in the first stage of the analysis, obviously it’s quite a long process. And lot of discussions and decisions will still be made based on the inspection.”
