Aston Villa are going to Wembley for Championship play-off final after beating West Brom 4-3 on penalties in the second leg of their semi-final at The Hawthorns on Tuesday.
It is Aston Villa’s successive playoff final in two years after they narrowly missed out of the promotion back to the Premier League.
Villa led 2-1 from the first leg at Villa Park on Saturday, but former Tottenham Hotspur defender Craig Dawson scored the only goal on Tuesday night to level and send the match to penalties.
Villa’s goalkeeper Jed Steer was the hero as he saved two penalties for his Club, before Tammy Abraham converted the last spot- kick to send his side to give his side’s the victory.
They will face Leeds or Derby who also has another Nigerian Fikayo Tomori on their payroll.
Abraham was named Villa’s championship player of the year after another successful loan from Premier league giants Chelsea.
