Nigerian-born youngster Flies From USA Back To Manchester

Manchester United youth team player, Matthew Olosunde is back in England, following a spell in America to recuperate from a recent injury.

Footballlive.ng learnt that the Nigerian-born youngster took the flight out of USA at the start of this week, and at Old Trafford to check on the next step of his progress with The Red Devils.

The Nigerian-born youngster is a USA under-17 former international, who played for his country of birth at the 2015 FIFA U-17 World Cup in Chile.

Olosunde, who has not kicked a ball this season due to a knee injury and missed a large portion of pre-season training, remains eligible for Nigeria, despite making his senior debut for the Americans in a friendly against Bolivia on May 28, 2018.

He joined United in January 2016 from New York Red Bulls, but was linked with a return to Major League Soccer (MLS) in the summer transfer window.
