Paris Saint-Germain defender Marquinhos says his side must be wary of Victor Osimhen when Selecao meet Nigeria in Sunday’s international friendly.
Osimhen has enjoyed a successful start to his Ligue 1 career with Lille, hitting seven goals in nine league appearances, a feat that got him nominated for the player of the month of September.
The Selecao and the Super Eagles will clash at the Singapore National Stadium, Kallang on Sunday and Marquinhos believed Osimhen can wreck his side if not properly marshalled .
” Nigeria have very physical and skillful players. Osimhen has done well at Lille,”Marquinhos told reporters at the Brazil training base in Singapore.
“Virtually unknown before his transfer but now everyone knows him that shows he can be very dangerous. We have to put an eye on him.
Brazil will face the Teranga Lions of Senegal on Thursday, before squaring up with the Super Eagles three days later.
