The United States WNT and their Nigerian counterparts will go head to head in an international friendly on Saturday and head Coach coach Vlatko Andonovski expects the game to be a tough test for World Champions.
The friendly this weekend is the first of two between the sides this month, and it’ll go down at Children’s Mercy Park in Kansas.
Next, the four time World Champions and face Africa’s most successful WNT at the Audi Field in Washington.
In the pre-match presser, Andonovski spoke on the team’s objective and expectations from the double header test games.
“It is more about a certain style [that Nigeria has] that will prepare us,” the USA WNT Coach said.
“They are very dynamic, intense, and organized. It will be intense, physical, aggressive, and we will be ready to deal with their high press.”
