Nigeria have reached the final qualifying round of the 2022 FIFA World Cup despite a lull 1-1 draw at home against Cape Verde.
Victor Osimhen gave Nigeria the lead inside the first minute, but it didn’t last long as Stopira Tavares drew the visitors level just five minutes.
The Super Eagles finished top of group C with 14 points; from four wins, one defeat and a draw.
Gernot Rohr’s side join Senegal, Morocco, Ghana, Algeria, Mali, Egypt and DR Congo in the third round.
