Meanwhile, Ghana are still outside the top 10 teams on the continent although they moved up a spot from 61st to 60th in the ranking.
As far as the continent is concerned, Senegal maintain top spot although Aliou Cisse’s men dropped two spots. Morocco, Nigeria, Egypt and Tunisia make up the top five.
The teams who make up the top 10 are Cameroon, Algeria, Mali, Ivory Coast and Burkina Faso.
