Nigeria was no match for Germany as the Super Falcons were trounced 3 nil by the Europeans in a round of 16 match at the FIFA Women’s World Cup on Saturday.

Two first half goals including a controversial penalty after Evelyn Nwabuoku was adjudged to have fouled Lina Magull in box from an attempted clearance.

Late on, Lea Schuller rounded up the goals in 82nd minute as she punished a mix up in the defence to ease the two times World Champions into the quarter-final.
