Nigeria Beat Guinea-Bissau at the AFCON, Not Much Has Changed Ever Since

Nigeria and Guinea-Bissau have only previously met once at senior level, a d it was a comfortable win for the Super Eagles, a result most expect will replay itself.

The team’s clashed in the Africa Cup of Nations back in Cameroon, and goals from William Troost-Ekong and Sadiq Umar settled the contest, neither players are with the Super Eagles in Abuja for the match Today.

Matter of fact, only 11 players from the 23 that were listed for that matchday squad, made got on the squad for this qualifiers.

A different Coach was in charge as well, and since the change of guard the Super Eagles haven’t really gone on to be a dominant force.

But, neither has Guinea-Bissau, in fact they’re winless in four games, and neither is the Nigerian team.

Perhaps this game will come.down to fine margins, with the visible challenges in both teams, the Coaches might have to rely on the front men, a key piece Nigeria currently has in abundance.

The Two Coaches, Jose Peseiro and Baciro Cande will play a game of wits, but ultimately count on their star players to make the difference.
