Nigeria will face host nation Morocco in the semi-final of the Women’s Africa Cup of Nations as the Super Falcons continue their charge of a fourth successful title defense.

Rasheedat Ajibade (56′) nicked in the goal that sealed the last four spot as well as one of four automatic World cup tickets for Nigeria.
The Super Falcons pipped Cameroon’s Indomitable Lionesses 1-0 at the Stade Mohammed V in Casablanca, Thursday night.
Meanwhile, host nation Morocco saw off Botswana 2-1, on Wednesday, to clinch their first ever world cup ticket as did Zambia following their penalty shootout victory over Senegal.
South Africa completes the semi-final quartet and also nicked a World Cup ticket with a 1-nil victory over Tunisia.
The Super falcons will continue their quest for a record extending tenth WAFCON trophy on July 18 at the Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium in Rabat.
Super Falcons coach Randy Waldrum will hope to write his name in the history books by going past the semis and clinching the title, and maintain the team’s status as the best Women’s National Team in Africa.
