Nigeria has been drawn bye in the CAF U23 African Nations Cup qualifiers.

The first round qualifying matches will hold in August, but Nigeria will begin it’s race to reach the tournament in October.
18 countries were drawn bye from the first round qualifiers which get under way next month.
The winner from the tie between Tanzania and South Sudan will then face Nigeria’s Dream Team Eagles.
Morocco have been selected as host of the 2023 CAF U23 African Cup of Nations, scheduled to kick off in June.
Eight teams will advance from the qualifiers to the Nations Cup in Morocco.
Subsequently, the best three teams from that tournament will pick tickets to vie for medals in the Men’s Football event of the 2024 Summer Olympic Games.
