Former Nigerian U17 and U20 forward, King Moses Osanga believes that the Country’s youth teams are among the top in the world.

The Golden Eaglets have been successful twice on the continent and five times on the world stage, while the Flying Eagles are seven times African champions.

Osanga believes the experience will serve Nigeria well as we prepare for both the U20 and U17 AFCON championships.

“When it come to Under age football in Africa, Nigeria is one of the top dogs, so definitely that experience will see them through,” Osanga told FL.

The Nigerian U17 team will face Morocco, South Africa and Zambia in the African tournament in Algeria while the U20 will lock horns with hosts Egypt, Mozambique and Senegal at the U20 AFCON.

Osanga advised that the U20 side should focus on their strengths and play their game.

“They should focus on their own strength, I have seen them play they are a very good side. If they believe in their own ability, Bosso is a good coach, so definitely they should focus on their own strength and play their game, they will take on any country at that age.”
