The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has once again brought the Legendary status of former Super Eagles Captain Austin “Jay Jay” Okocha to the fore.
The Former PSG, Bolton and Hull City and Fenerbahce outstanding Midfielder clocks 46 today and the nation’s Football governing body via their Twitter handle celebrated the African icon.

Between 1993 and 2006, he was capped 73 times by the Nigerian National Team and scored 14 goals.
He is a part of the Nigerian Dream team that won gold in Atlanta, United States of America in 1996.
Okocha was named captain of English Premier League side Bolton by Sam Allardyce in 2007 after Gudni Bergsson retired from playing at the end of the previous campaign.
As captain he led Bolton to their first cup final in nine years where they finished runners-up in the 2004 Football League Cup to Middlesbrough FC.
