The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has finally resolved the controversy of either going ahead with the elections on Friday 30th or not.

After a ruling by the Appeal Court on Thursday, the Annual General Assembly/Elective Congress, is now sure to go ahead.

A court ruling had suspended the election which would decide the administration of football in the country for the next four years.

However, with the Appeal Court nullifying the ruling of the court order, the election process would now proceed.

10 Aspirants would vie for NFF presidency, while 12 other Candidates will contest for positions on the executive committee.

Representatives, who are observers from world football governing body, FIFA, are confirmed to be in Benin already, while CAF representatives will also be on ground to observe proceedings.
