Neymar And Uzoho Doubtful For League Action After Sustaining Injury In Singapore

Paris St-Germain forward Neymar is doubtful for his Club’s Champions league game with Club Brugge on October 22nd after he  limped off in Brazil 1-1 draw by Nigeria.

The 27-year-old was substituted after 12th minutes holding his left thigh,  meaning he could be out of action for weeks.

 

Rangers Joe Aribo who returned from serious head injury gave Nigeria the lead in the 35th minutes , before Real Madrid’s Casemiro equalised just after half-time.

 

With 70% possession at Kallang Stadium in Singapore, Brazil were unable to find a winner to extend their winless run to five matches after winning the Copa America.

 

Meanwhile, Nigeria’s first choice goalkeeper Francis Uzoho was also substituted from the with suspected serious injury after he landed awkwardly.

 

Uzoho sustained the injury in the 63rd minutes, before been replaced with Maduka Okoye who made his first appearance for Nigeria.
