Odion Ighalo and his teammates faced Newcastle United on Thursday in a mid-season friendly and Al Hilal suffered a whitewash.
Ighalo played the entire 90 minutes, but the Forward failed to find his scoring boots as Al Hilal were outclassed.
The English Premier League side put five past their opponents with goals from Joelinton (8′, 43′), Miguel Almiron (76′, 82′) and Dylan Stephenson (86′).
For his all troubles on the night, Ighalo was booked – in the second half.
It was the first tune up game for both sides since the World Cup break.
However, Al Hilal will be back in action in seven days to face Al-Batin in a round of 16, Kings Cup of Champions fixture.
