Newcastle puts four past Joe Aribo’s Saints

Super Eagles midfielder Joe Aribo was in action for Southampton as the saints were humbled 4-1 by Newcastle at the St. Mary Stadium.

It was an encounter to forget as Southampton offered very little in attack and their timid defense encourage Newcastle attackers to run at them.

Newcastle wasn’t done scoring and Bruno Guimaraes found the back of the net in stoppage time to maintain the 3-goal cushion and wrap up the victory for the Magpies.

Joe Aribo was in action for Twenty-six minutes and completed 75% of his passes, completed 1 dribble and won 2 fouls for good measure.

A consequence of Sunday’s defeat is that the Southampton club hierarchy will open discussions for Ralph Hasenhüttl imminent sack, according to the Athletic.
