New start underway for Tyronne Ebuehi

Tyronne Ebuehi made his competitive debut for Empoli this weekend in the Serie A.

Ebuehi, who joined the Italian club this summer from Benfica, was ruled out of the first set of League games due to fitness concerns.
He made the bench in the Coppa Italia match against Spal – in the first game of the season – but was handed 26 minutes on his debut, Sunday.
Empoli took the lead quite early, Fabiano Parisi with the opening goal of the contest in the 22nd minute.
However, the Via Del Mare home crowd celebrated in the 40th minute as their team pulled level.
Gabriel Strefezza rifled a shot into the roof of the net from the edge of the box.
In the 65th minute, Paolo Zanetti introduced the Nigerian LB, Tyronne Ebuehi for Petar Stojanovic.
Ebuehi did just enough with 22 touches of the ball, 14 passes and 2 clearances.
Next up for Gli Azzurri is a midweek home game in the Serie A against Verona.
