Netherlands manager Van der Veen Peter revealed how his side capitalized on Nigeria’s Golden Eaglets weakness in Wednesday’s round of FIFA U17 World Cup in Brazil.

The Oranje sent the five time world champions parking from the tournament after a comfortable 3-1.

Hansen’s hat-trick was enough to help the Europeans qualify for the quarter-final at the expense of the Africans who were shambolic on the night.

The head coach of the Dutch side, Van der Veen Peter, said he’s side were eager to end their bad run of results against the Nigerians at this stage.

“Before now, the Netherlands had only won a game before the Nigerian match, and it motivated us as a team to want to go higher,” Peter summed up.
