Nervy win for FC Porto against Famalicao, Sanusi gets Sub role

FC Porto survived a scare in the Primeira Liga win against Famalicao on Sunday.

Sérgio Conceição’s men had to hold on for dear life to preserve their one-goal lead at the Municipal Stadium Famalicão.
The visitors were two goals up by the 43rd minute of the first-half.
Former Famalicao striker Martinez Toni with the brace and Porto looked like walking away with a comfortable win, but the minnows still had some fight in them.
After the restart, Famalicao came off the block firing and 11 minutes later they were rewarded.
Riccieli halved the deficit and gave the hosts a fighting chance to sneak at least a point from the game.
Conceição turned to his bench with twenty minutes to the end of the game, calling on Francisco Conceição and Zaidu Sanusi.
Sanusi was brought on to shore up the defence and the Nigerian did enough to help his side see out the game.
FC Porto went on to make it two wins out of two in the early days of the season.
