Ndidi’s Leicester City Crashes At Anfield

Nigerian midfielder Wilfred Ndidi was on parade for Leicester City in their Saturday’s English premier league clash with Liverpool.

Ndidi and his teammates arrived at Anfield at the back of their 5-0 victory over Newcastle United at King Power Stadium last Sunday.

Liverpool took the lead through their Senegalese import Sadio Mane with five minutes into the half time.

Leicester City crawled back into the game and find much needed equaliser with James Maddison’s 80th minutes strike, assisted by substitute Ayoze Perez.

Leicester feel they had done enough to earn a point from the game, but conceded injury penalty due to loss of concentrations.

The penalty was awarded after consultation with the video assistant referee and Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp celebrated wildly as Rodgers turned away in despair.

James Milner stepped up and converted the penalty to hand Jurgen Klopp’s men all the three points and extended Liverpool’s winning run to 17 Premier League games in the process.

Leicester has now suffered their second loss of the premier league season and will look to bounce back to winning ways when they host Burnley at the King Power Stadium next Saturday.
