Wilfred Ndidi scored a goal for Leicester City in their 1-4 win against Southampton in the Championship on Friday night.

Ndidi found the back of the net in the third minute of added time in the first half, capitalizing on a pass from Stephy Mavididi and slotting the ball into the goal.

This goal marked Ndidi’s third in all competitions for Leicester City this season, equalling his highest goal tally in a single season for the club.

Mavididi who had been tormenting the back line of Southampton all night made a darting run into the area and pulled back for the Nigerian midfielder, who with all composure dribbled past his marker in the box and poked a deflected shot into the back of the net.

Leicester City burst to a two-goal lead through Jamie Vardy and Kasey McAteer before Samuel Edozie pulled one back for Southampton.

Mavididi later added Leicester’s fourth goal in the 67th minute.

Meanwhile, Kelechi Iheanacho was introduced six minutes to the end of regulation time for Jamie Vardy.
