Ndidi Impressive in win Over Arsenal


Wilfred Ndidi was impressive for Leicester City in the 2-0 win over Arsenal at the King Power Stadium in a premier league match on Saturday.

Ndidi scored a 8.6 rating per whoscored.com , the highest by any player on the pitch in 90 minutes.


The Nigerian won 7 tackles and 3 aerial battles in a dominant display to neutralize the Gunners.


It was an exciting game all through with chances falling to both teams in the first half, but it ended goalless.


They sides resumed the second half in the same fashion as the first, but it was the hosts who made it count.


Jamie Vardy scored (68′) his 10th league goal of the season and his ninth in nine meetings against Arsenal.


Minutes later Ndidi bulldozed hia way past two Arsenal players, picked out Youri Tielemans who picked out Vardy.


But, the forward couldn’t get his shot away and laid it back for James Maddison (75′), who struck the ball hard and low, leaving Bernd Leno rooted.


Arsenal barely threatened and simply allowed Leicester dictate the game to record another convincing victory.


The win sends Brendan Rodgers’ men back to second in the EPL standings, tied on 26 points with Chelsea, who beat Crystal Palace 2-0 in the early kick off on Saturday.
