Wilfred Ndidi and Kelechi Iheanacho both got assists while Stephen Odey scored in the Europa Conference League match between Leicester City and Randers on Thursday at Cepheus Park.
Leicester City entered the game with a 4-1 first-leg win and were off the mark in the second-leg inside the opening two minutes when Ndidi set up Harvey Barnes for Leicester’s opener.
James Maddison then doubled deep inside the second half, he got his second of the night courtesy a Kelechi Iheanacho assist.
With the visitors and the game well beyond reach, a goalkeeping gaffe gifted Odey the chance to register a consolation.
The Nigerian forward profited from Kasper Schmeichel’s heavy touch from a back pass which allowed the ball fall kindly in his path for a tap in.
There were two other Nigerians involved in the game, Ademola Lookman and Tosin Kehinde all of whom played the entire minutes.
