The Nigerian duo, Wilfred Ndidi and Kelechi Iheanacho, were in action for Leicester City as their woes were compounded in a 1-0 defeat to Bournemouth in their Premier League on Saturday.

Iheanacho was brought in to try and influence the game by replacing Jamie Vardy in the second half.

The Striker was introduced in the 58th minute, but it was not going to be a good day in front goal despite his efforts.

Ndidi started the game for Leicester City, making it consecutive starts for the midfielder since returning from international duties with Nigeria, but he was replaced by Dennis Praet in the 81st minute as the Foxes pushed for an equalizer that would not come.

The defeat condemned Leicester City to 19th position in the Premier League table and with 8 matches to go, the duo of Ndidi and Iheanacho might just be relegated with the team at the end of the season except something drastic happens.
