Former Lazio goalkeeper Marco Ballotta has hailed the qualities of Victor Osimhen, and particularly his mentality and attitude.
Ballotta described Osimhen as a team player and natural leader.
In an interview with Napoli Magazine, the former Goalkeeper, who also played for Parma and Inter Milan in the Serie A, underlined the Nigerian’s importance to Napoli.
“You can feel it when Osimhen is missing,” Marco Ballotta said. “I really admire Osimhen’s determination, his desire to win, he never stops at nothing.”
“I say he’s a team player, a driver, with the attitude he has, he’s good for everyone. And he is a great finisher.”
Osimhen has seen his stock rise since joining Napoli two years ago from Lille for €75 million, and after initially struggling with Injury, the Nigerian finished his debut season with 18 goals and 6 assist.
This campaign, Victor Osimhen is Napoli’s top scorer with 10 goals and 3 assists in all competitions from 14 appearances.
